How to measure your head circumference

  1. You will need someone to take this for you
  2. Please have your hair in the position or any headwear you will have onwhen you wear the hat
  3. You will need a tape measure
  4. Measure from above your ear, around the mid-forehead and all the way around
  5. The tape measure must be firm but not too tight
  6. Record your head circumference in centimetres 

 

How to measure your chest

  1. You will need a tape measure 
  2. Take the measurement wearing what you would wear underneath the garment
  3. Wrap the tape measure around your torso so that it surrounds your chest and falls just under your armpits
  4. Rest it securely around the widest part of your chest (often above or at the nipple line)
  5. Ensure the tape is at the same height all the way around
  6. Where the beginning end of the tape measure and the remaining portion meet is your chest measurement
  7. Take note of your measurement or ask someone to take the measurement for you (Note your chest size in inches)
  8.  Always round up the measurement when buying clothing. Add 2 inches (5cm) to the measurement for any garment that you want to be slightly loose, such as a dress shirt

How to measure your collar size

  1. You will need a tape measure 
  2. Take the measurement without anything around your neck
  3. Wrap the tape measure around the fullest part of your neck
  4. Ensure the tape is at the same height all the way around
  5. Where the beginning end of the tape measure and the remaining portion meet is your collar size
  6. Take note of your measurement or ask someone to take the measurement for you (Note your neck size in inches)
  7. Add half an inch to allow room around the neck
