How to measure your head circumference

- You will need someone to take this for you
- Please have your hair in the position or any headwear you will have onwhen you wear the hat
- You will need a tape measure
- Measure from above your ear, around the mid-forehead and all the way around
- The tape measure must be firm but not too tight
- Record your head circumference in centimetres
How to measure your chest
- You will need a tape measure
- Take the measurement wearing what you would wear underneath the garment
- Wrap the tape measure around your torso so that it surrounds your chest and falls just under your armpits
- Rest it securely around the widest part of your chest (often above or at the nipple line)
- Ensure the tape is at the same height all the way around
- Where the beginning end of the tape measure and the remaining portion meet is your chest measurement
- Take note of your measurement or ask someone to take the measurement for you (Note your chest size in inches)
- Always round up the measurement when buying clothing. Add 2 inches (5cm) to the measurement for any garment that you want to be slightly loose, such as a dress shirt
How to measure your collar size
- You will need a tape measure
- Take the measurement without anything around your neck
- Wrap the tape measure around the fullest part of your neck
- Ensure the tape is at the same height all the way around
- Where the beginning end of the tape measure and the remaining portion meet is your collar size
- Take note of your measurement or ask someone to take the measurement for you (Note your neck size in inches)
- Add half an inch to allow room around the neck
